simply awesome! the best price from Sawasdee! the resort is more for family and couples, there is no night life etc. a great private beach, the staff are great always saying hello. the rooms were spectacular i would reccomend the pool villas. the resort is quite large and peaceful. you can rent a scooter for roughly 200 baht /day to get around. we had a great time here and will be back again as the accomodation, staff and facility were definately 5 star.

Accommodation and facilities:

Spent 10 wonderful days with the family (kids 3&5). Although there are still some constructions going one (mainly at the front gate) we had a great time at this hotel. The rooms are very spacious and clean (especially the daily cleaning is good) and you have a nice patio in the terrace suite. The breakfast was very good and also the choice which was available at the buffet. The beach was extremely clean and the water was shallow, just perfect for the kids. All in all the hotel is an excellent place to be and the Muang Samui Villas & Suites has much upside potential especially in the service. (i.e. the beach boy was almost never around and instead cleaning the beach from drop-offs he dispense it in the sand).
