Accommodation and facilities:

Stayed in the main building for one night, the room consist of a queen sized and a single bed. The furniture are little old and the bed is hard. The lady at the front desk is friendly, the communal area was good for mingle around with other travelers. Lastly the location is close to the beach and nightlife.

We stayed at the Best Resort five years ago and had a great time so we chose to live there again. Now is the Best Resort unfortunately suffered a nasty girl at the reception. Talking shit about people with other guests. Casually and publicly in the wrong place. Replace her!

first time at the best resort and was not sure as you sometimes canot judge a resort by pictures alone. what a nice surprise clean rooms, 2mins to beach ,great staff, supermarket, good sercurity and in my mind the best swimming pool in lamai .

Excellent location, one minute from the beach and two minutes to bars and restaurants etc. Spacious rooms and friendly service. I would definitely stay there again.

Best Resort has a good location to beach and center of Lamia. It is amazing nice people who work at the hotel. I miss them all. The hotel is old but everything is what you need. On the beach there is less than 100 meters, and the same to the center. You can buy a good meal at the hotel at an affordable price. Always a smile and hello from the staff. Cleaning every day in the rooms of sweet cleaning staff. Can you live in a hotel by a little old, it is a place for you. The best recommendations. I will miss you all. Love from Morten - Denmark

Very kind staff and very cheap to drink abeer or something else.I stayded there for 10 days in poolbugalow.The bungalows are poor furnisched and not clean, but after telling this the roommaids and give them a tip it was O.K. I had a very good time at Best Resort at the middel of Lamai and 50 mr. from beach

Excellent prize for a hotell right in the heart of Lamai. Beach round the corner (2min walk). If you like some wheels for rent (bike/car) well thats only 2min upp the rod. The staf on this place do really tray to make your stay as good and comfy as they can. They serve a fairly decent breakfast and you dont ned to go down town for lunch.

It s a quiet simple but nice hotel with a small pool. Personal is very friendly and helpful! 50 meters to the beach and only a few steps to a lot of restaurants and bars! The only thing which needed to be changed is the very bad condition of the bathroom.

The location is good, only 50 meters from the Laima beach. And it also in the centre of Laima. The boss is nice and friendly. But the bedsheet is no so clean.

The hotel was in a fantastic location, 2 minutes from the beach in one direction and 2 minutes from bars and resturants in the other, yet beacuse it was down a side street, remained very quiet and peaceful. The hotel was just what you d expect from a budget hotel, friendly, clean, no frills. Only downside was the poor breakfast, but you havent far to walk for a whole selection of breakfast options.

Very nice, basic, comfortable hotel at an excellent price. The staff were wonderful -- friendly, helpful, felxible -- and only charged us for the days we stayed. We arrived late because of bad weather in the Gulf of Thailand and left a day early because of the train schedule. Everything was exactly as pictured or described on the web site. Two adults and two children stayed in two rooms in the main building and these were spacious for us with one double bed and one single in each room. The pool was plenty large and surrounded by mature shade trees. The location is not right on the beach but just across the road from an access point to what we found to be the best part of the beach. It is very near a place to rent chairs and umbrellas for the day and vendors come along frequently with food, etc. We spent all day every day on the beach, but could easily walk back to the hotel to use the bathroom, etc. The location made it very quiet as the hotel had no immediate neighbors, but it is very convenient for going out to eat, shopping or to bars.

Booking service was easy to use and they were very helpful when we found we needed to postpone our arrival.
