Accommodation and facilities:We stayed for 13 days and had the most relaxing time in a relaxed environment . The Spa is amazing. Highly recommendable. The staff were extremely helpful & joyful.

Accommodation and facilities:Beautiful Hotel. Friendly staff - sometimes a bit too fawning . Excellent location. Outstanding restaurant. Was upgraded at no extra cost to villa which was absolutely amazing. Only criticism was that the outdoor bath did not work and they could not replace a faulty hairdryer. Gardens and facility well kept.

Accommodation and facilities:The resort was beautiful. The staff was excellent. The only problem was that they did not service the room until 7 at night which is too late. Other than that it was a great place to vacation.

Accommodation and facilities:An excellent resort. My family were very well looked after by all staff there. Two bedroom suite with its own pool was beautiful. Food at the restaurant was expensive compared to local restaurants but not compared to normal Australian prices. Food was very well presented and of very good quality.

Accommodation and facilities:Stayed for the first five days of our honeymoon. Couldn t have been better. The resort and staff are top notch. Breakfast was great, swim-up bar drinks excellent, beach chairs and umbrellas nice, great location, and on and on. The sand is not as nice as at Chaweng, but it s such a nicer, more relaxed scene at Bophut and who cares about sand when you re sitting in a lounge chair most of the day. Fantastic job Anantara!

Accommodation and facilities:Resort was lovely. Staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming. Everyone was especially terrific with our 7 month old daughter, playing with her during meal times where possible so we could eat in peace. A short walk to the Fisherman s Village which basically provides variety in eating options but prices are very similar to the hotel. Note - suites do not have a separate bedroom - they are essentially open plan rooms twice the size of a regular room. This wasn t what we expected and if travelling with children who need to go to bed earlier than the adults is worth noting. Food at all 3 restaurants was very good. It is right on the beach (which is a lovely crescent of white sand but the water wasn t particularly clear - maybe to do with tides/wind churning things up). I recommend Anantara Boh Phut very highly - we had a wonderful 2 week stay there.

Accommodation and facilities:great hotel,beautiful rooms. very friendly staff.The only dissapointment was : no sailboats! On internet they promise laser and catamaran en there were none!!This was a pity because we had chosen this hotel because of the watersports There was only one surfboard. If they will have sailboats I would come back!

Accommodation and facilities:The Anantara Bophut Resort was a very pleasant surprise. Gorgeous Resort and impeccable service. Staff were exceptionally friendly and couldn t be more helpful. While the clientele may be a little stodgy preferring to sun by the pool and sea rather than swim in it, we enjoyed the water vey much. Bhoput is still a relaxed part of Ko Samui and has the Fisherman s Village and many restaurants nearby. Highly Recommended !

Accommodation and facilities:Our time at the Anantara easily represents our finest resort experience to date. We have traveled a fair bit, and to some very, very nice resorts. The Anantara is the total package. From the fine and friendly reception which included cool and fragrant towels, to the escort to our lovely room. You will find the staff to be second to none, on all levels. We selected the Deluxe Terrace, and found it to be quite lovely. The shower is particularly nice, and the tub very deep for luxuriating. If one had a hip issue, it may even be a bit too tall to climb into with ease. A point of note, some people do find these rooms to be a bit dark. We thought the terrace was wonderful, though, and loved to be able to wander out into the garden, which is a feast for the senses in every way. If you are in any way a gardener or buff for botanical gardens or landscape design, this is the resort for you. The breakfasts are really amazing, fresh and always with a new twist. We ordered room service many nights (lazy!) and really must say they pull off room service in fine fashion. Hot, fresh and delicious. The Full Moon restaurant is fabulous. The pool fits beautifully with the landscape, and is another one of the resorts showpieces. The loungers are very comfy and service at poolside and on the beach is top drawer. You will hear that the water is not particularly clear on this beach, nor is the sand soft. These are both accurate points, neither of which prevented us from walking on the beach daily, and swimming several times a day. It s not that the water is unclean; it is just different, you know? Also, there is some seaweed after about 10 meters, depending upon the tide, and that can make some folks uncomfortable. If that is an annoyance to you, lift up your feet and start swimming earlier, or stay in the pool! The spa. Have a treatment soon after your arrival. Had I realized that this may be my best spa experience since I was born, I would have been there every day. Yoga: 3 days a week, Hatha yoga, on the grass unless numbers or weather dictates a move indoors. Loved it, especially grass days! We had booked a different small hotel for the 5 nights prior to our Sawadee booking, and upon arrival there, decided to check out. We walked over to the Anantara who quickly organized us to check in at 10 the next morning, so our original 5 day Sawadee booking turned into 9. This just one more example of a staff that is outstanding and accommodating in every way. Location: The resort is located a short 5 minute walk from the village of Bophut, which is alive with colourful restaurants and little shopping stalls. Directly across the street and beside the hotel, on the main road way, are laundry shops (cheap!) and markets. The hotel doesn’t mind if your own beer makes it way into the fridge. I can recommend the Anantara, with enthusiasm, truly feel it can offer something special for everyone.
